Day 109: Pottery Class

Trying to get a reasonably priced pottery class around London is nigh on impossible. I suppose it’s quite a popular thing these days, especially with shows like the Great Pottery Throw Down. Hackney City Farm does evening classes during the week for £15, which is an absolute bargain – the caveat being that due to popularity everyone gets very limit time on the wheel. That didn’t matter to me, so we headed down – I was happy to give it a try and spend the rest of the time making other stuff in clay. One of my pottery throwing efforts went a bit tits-up unfortunately, but apart from that the stuff looked pretty decent! We go back in a week or so once the stuffs been fired, so it’ll be good to see the results…
