A local told us that this is the nicer, less touristy market to go to for dinner in Lisbon instead of the Time Out market. Luckily it was also only a 15min walk from where we were staying, so we had a few reasons to go. After a long day travelling over to Cascais and then back to Alfama, we took the iconic 28 tram all the way up to the market. This place is much smaller than the Time Out market and has a much more limited selection, but it feels intimate and slightly more real. We really enjoyed the food here and some massive G&T’s all whilst the Benfica match was playing in the background for the locals!
